When should you seek treatment at our Urgent Care Center? The answer is simple: Urgent Care Center provides treatment and care for patients who have medical conditions that are too urgent to wait for the next weekday appointment, but do not necessarily require emergency room attention. Urgent Care patients are treated on a first come, first served basis. No appointment is necessary. Types of medical conditions and treatments handled by our Urgent Care Center include (but are not limited to): * Abscess Drainage Examples of non-urgent medical procedures NOT handled at our Urgent Care Center include: * Routine Referrals These types of visits should be handled by making an appointment with your primary care physician. Santa Monica Bay Physicians' Urgent Care Center is great for those wishing to avoid long waits in traditional emergency rooms. There's plenty of free parking and all urgent medical problems and minor emergencies – such as cuts, lacerations, burns, sprains, minor trauma, bites, infections, pain -- are handled in the office, which is fully equipped with X-ray and other diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. Our excellent Urgent Care staff and physicians have been treating patients since 1985.
